We humbly thank our guests for their wonderful reviews.

In May 2019 Booking.com announced Llarrinda Bed & Breakfast Australia's #1 accommodation host.  Then in 2021, TripAdvisor awarded their highest honour  - Traveller's Choice Best of the Best Winner in the category of Best Inns/B&Bs - Australia.

This placed us in the top 1% of hotels worldwide -

and it's all because of our guests' reviews.

From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you!!!

We are thrilled with the reviews we have received from guests since we opened our doors back in December 2014. Here are just a few we have received so far. You can find more on TripAdvisor, Booking.com, Google

and Expedia. We cannot thank you enough!

My husband and I stayed at Llarrinda recently. We have stayed at many B & B establishments, and without a doubt, this one stands out as the best we have ever encountered.

Nothing was too much trouble for Linda and Larry. They went the extra mile in so many ways. Where to start?

We loved the extensive high-quality breakfasts and many unexpected treats. The attention to detail was exemplary from the furnishings to the decor of each room. The views of the Prom were stunning.

We fell in love with the two rescue dogs, Gracie and Possum as well as the hosts.  Thank you so much, Larry and Linda, for making our stay such a memorable one.

Linda and Larry are quintessential hosts - providing the most beautiful B&B we've ever had the pleasure of experiencing. There is simply nothing that they have not thought of, to make ones stay an absolute treat and pleasure. Our night away was simply divine and we very much look forward to staying there again! Thank you :)

What a weekend and what amazing hosts! Linda and Larry were extremely welcoming and ensured that our Wilsons Prom accommodation stay was lacking nothing. Their beautiful home has breathtaking views of the amazing surroundings and is within 30 minutes of Wilsons Promontory, which we visited after one of Linda's superb continental breakfasts and some great coffee. Closer to 'home', there is plenty of wildlife to be seen through the window, including possums, yellow-tailed black cockatoos, crimson rosellas and Larry and Linda's cat, Nelly - oh, and the sheep at the bottom of the garden! Larry and Linda had plenty of tips on where to go and what to do, but we had just as much fun when we were 'back at base' as we did when we were exploring. We were genuinely sad to leave and we'll definitely be back to visit them again at some point.

“Linda's oasis is the equal best Airbnb I have ever stayed in. Great thought had been put into the comfort and quality of the accommodation and facilities. Linda and Larry went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect and I will be eternally grateful for their kindness. The outlook is superb, the breakfast divine and the room warm and comfortable. Thank you, I hope to return on many occasions in the future.”

Alison Christensen, Melbourne

"Absolutely fabulous! Faultless. A breathtakingly beautiful house with views to match. Larry and Linda were the best hosts possible. Accommodation is as private as you want it to be or Larry and Linda are very happy for you to join them. Lovely breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were very sad to leave. Terrific, 6 stars out of 5!!!"

I arrived at Linda's lovely property to be warmly welcomed into the gorgeous home. Beautifully presented, great decore with fantastic views of the Prom and assorted islands. Comfortable beds, beautiful bathrooms and a warm open fire. 5 out 5, loved it.

"If you come as a stranger and after the first hour feel not only like a private guest, but a special one, you met Linda and Larry. The whole house breathes thoughtfulness and well applied comfort, nothing overdone, nothing exaggerated, just right to feel at home. Left to our privacy whenever we wished to be, Linda and Larry were always ready to share both experience and advice when asked. The rooms were spick and span, but in a cosy way, the breakfast was nothing less but Five-Star! We hope truly we may one day return to this most charming couple to spend time with them, or, even more, welcome them as guests in our own home."

Ernst Hillbrecht, Germany

"We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The accommodation is immaculate and homely, with every detail provided for and the quality of the breakfast was first class. We could not have asked for a better first B n B experience, now all others have to live up to this high standard. A home from home!"

Bridget Van De Pol, Holland

"On our arrival we were warmly greeted by Linda. She showed us through the absolutely beautiful house and introduced us to Larry. We instantly felt welcome. The lounge looked out across the most spectacular view of rolling hills, all the way out to the Prom. The "guest wing" was immaculate and the kids were delighted to have their own room with a TV! Everything from the bedding to the towels and soaps, to the amazing breakfast, was 5 star. The most enjoyable feature was talking with the hosts as they showed us their property, veggie patches, wombat holes and let the kids feed the sheep. We would definitely stay here again if in the area."

Jamie Hughes, Melbourne

"Best BnB in Victoria! Linda made us feel so welcome! The house and room are beautifully presented and extremely comfortable and clean! The breakfast was incredible, the attention to detail exquisite! I'm already planning another excuse to come and stay again! Absolutely fantastic!"

Emma Jouglin, Scotland

"This was simply a beautiful experience for my wife and two young children. Linda and Larry have got a stunningly beautiful home and a very well appointed wing for BnB guests. Their commitment to service is well beyond anything we have previously known even in 5 star hotels and the full continental breakfast is an absolute treat and an amazing start to the day. Would HIGHLY recommend both the home and the hosts to anybody looking for a relaxing get away while exploring this beautiful and still yet largely undiscovered region of Victoria. Linda and Larry are highly engaging and knowledgeable hosts and it is hard to imagine anyone coming here and not having a wonderful time. We give them a genuine 10/10.."

Linda and Larry are perfect hosts; I felt like I was visiting friends rather than staying at a B&B. The location is perfectly situated to visit a long list of beautiful tourist attractions; such as Wilson's Promontory and Tarra Bulga National Park, to name but two of the sites that I visited during my stay. The region abounds in a huge range of delicious gourmet food producers and retailers (honourable mention being made of the Fish Creek Hotel); you'll be hard-pressed to find the time to eat at all these places.

Just perfect ............ High quality accommodation in an outstanding location. Linda and Larry were excellent hosts, very informative and great fun. We can't praise this stay enough and would return in an instant.

It was a great stay. Linda and Larry are great hosts and they really give you a great feeling of being at home. The breakfast was great, the room just very nice with an own big bath room and the view is amazing. Even a Spa is available while seeing the birds on the terrace. All the wildlife of Australia could be seen in the surrounding. We got several rides with Larry to see it, even at night. We would really love to come back and already miss the birds on the terrace every morning. Thanks again and all the best.

"Sublime" doesn't quite do our experience justice. Linda and Larry are superb hosts, greeting us on their driveway with warmth and utter hospitality. They immediately left an impression that they were born to be hosts. The room is better than I could have imagined; far more luxurious than most hotels I've stayed at. The bed itself is very comfortable, I wish I could replicate the bathroom in my own home, and the various plates, teas, cups, and wine glasses are beautifully organized and presented in the various drawers. There is a microwave and small fridge in the room, but you wouldn't be able to cook in there. I'm sure Linda and Larry would allow you to cook in the kitchen. The view is amazing and the area is perfect for stargazing since it gets pitch black at night. The breakfast was hearty and healthy. The best part of our experience was chatting with them and another set of guests the evening we stayed with them in front of the outdoor chimney. They are great conversationalists and have a lot of wisdom with their various travels and knowledge of the area. Finally, their suggestions for Wilsons Promontory were perfectly suited to our time constraints and difficulty level. The *only* downside was that we had a hard time connecting to the internet from our room. You can only reach it from one of the chairs at the table, but the main house has great connection and you are always welcome in there. Larry says he plans to amplify the signal to the room soon though. Regardless, I cannot recommend them enough.

Fantastic accommodation, and the most warm and friendly host one can possibly wish for. Truly made to feel at home with Linda and Larry's generosity and thoughtfulness. The standard of the rooms / house was top notch, and the view lovely. Great breakfast too, thanks for giving us such an unforgettable experience :) Hope we will be back!

My partner and I absolutely loved staying at Llarrinda! The property is stunning and Linda and Larry are amazing hosts, we felt very spoilt and didn't want to leave. Looking forward to another stay!

Wow! Linda and Larry's place is so peaceful and beautiful. It was just what I needed for my weekend away. The place is immaculately clean - I just get lost for words when I try to explain it to people. One of my most favourite moments there was watching the sunrise on the deck while enjoying Linda's delicious breakfast spread. Linda and Larry are perfect hosts too - they gave me some great suggestions for wineries, walks and dinner places and also made me feel so at home. Linda even baked and left me a scone to eat after my day hiking and I was welcomed to their home with a little selection of chocolates, nuts, grapes and port. This place has the right amount of privacy if you need it and if you don't then Linda and Larry are also very happy to share their common space with you, maybe even share their bottle of wine with you

Perfect Airbnb experience! From the moment we arrived, Linda and Larry made us feel right at home. They are more than knowledgeable about the area and were happy to give us many tips about our upcoming trip to Wilson's Prom. The house is set up perfectly for guests and we found anything we could have possibly needed during our short stay there. We just wish we had been staying for more than one night! We will definitely go back and stay again.

Lisa Rollins, Melbourne

PERFECT! Staying with Larry and Linda was like staying with family. They are just the nicest people you could ever hope to meet, and care very deeply about ensuring that we enjoyed our stay. They know everything there is about the area and are really active in the community which is so nice to see. Their home and it's setting is stunningly beautiful and completely self designed, with amazing views all the way to wilsons prom. Amazing breakfast always with more fresh fruit, home made and organic produce than we could eat- with the best yoghurt we have ever tasted. This was our favourite airBnb experience ever and the highlight of our Australia trip. I am already recommending them to all our friends. We hope to be back one day! Thanks again

We LOVED our stay at Llarrinda! Linda and Larry are unbelievably gracious and personable hosts and made us feel at home from the moment we pulled into the driveway. You can tell how much thought and care goes into making their guests feel welcome; from snacks in our room upon arrival to luxurious bedding, delicious breakfast and everything in between. The views are spectacular – a serious treat at night (especially on a clear night when starry skies will make you want to stay up all night) and during the day. Enjoying the starry night out of a hot tub was especially awesome! Waking up to the sunrise over the beautiful rolling hills was incredible, which only made us feel like we'd made a huge mistake not booking a whole week. We hope we get to stay with Linda and Larry again soon.

We stayed at LLarinda B&B last Easter whilst on a trip from the UK, and it’s definitely top of our list for a return visit as soon as we can make it back ‘down under’. Nestled in the hills that surround the little township of Foster, the house offers amazing views of Wilson’s Prom, together with a high level of comfort and convenience. We occupied the guest wing attached to the main house which provides two bedrooms (luxurious beds!) and a spacious bathroom - all with panoramic views of Wilson’s Prom, plus a kitchenette (including washing machine), and a further wc/cloakroom.

The bedrooms have sliding doors to the deck, where cockatoos, lorikeets and many other colourful species of birds come to feed and entertain with their acrobatics. We made good use of the deck with its comfortable furniture, BBQ and the hot tub with views! At night we enjoyed watching the stars and the shy visiting possums, whilst staying toasty warm against the glow of the chiminea.

Linda and Larry are amazing hosts who welcome guests into their own beautiful living space which includes a sitting room with a huge log fire for chillier evenings. We ate breakfast in the dining area and enjoyed delicious local and home made produce, including a freshly made fruit salad to die for, local yoghurt, bircher muesli, sourdough bread and home made jams.

Our hosts are very knowledgable about the local area and helped us plan our days out - from trips to the nearest sandy beaches, to the wildest and most scenic parts of Wilson’s Prom, to the special places where we could spot kangaroos and even wombats close up, to various artistic and cultural events, and a wonderful farmers and craft market. Linda and Larry are passionate about wildlife and the environment and they have planted the grounds around their house with a variety of native trees and plants to provide a haven for wildlife. They also go to great lengths to ensure that all the products they use, including the complimentary toiletries for the guests, are locally sourced, environmentally friendly and sustainable. Highly recommended, we just couldn’t have found a better place to stay!
